Cricket Stars to Visit Watagan Park Central

To celebrate this partnership and the establishment of the Rangers, we are hosting an exciting community activation event - and you’re invited.

On Wednesday, 29 July, as part of the annual Cricket NSW Country Blitz, contracted elite players from the NSW Blues, NSW Breakers, and Sydney Sixers will be making a special visit to Watagan Park Central.

Event Details:

• Date: Wednesday, 29 July
• Time: 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM
• Location: Watagan Park Central (Located between the large pillars in front of Woolworths)

This is a fantastic opportunity for children and families to get involved. The afternoon will feature Sydney Sixers and Woolworths Cricket Blast activities, complete with giveaways, prizes, and light participation games. Representatives from Hunter Coast AFL will also be on hand to showcase how our two great sports are working together to support participation, inclusion, and long-term community benefits.

Beyond the fun and games, this event is the perfect chance to learn more about the Watagan Rangers brand. We will be providing information on our Expressions of Interest (EOI) process for those in the community who would like to step up as prospective Board and Committee members.
